20,000 real robot trials, and a five-year-old challenger
Brad Porter says he will bring his rig to CoRL next week to race a five-year-old child at picking up household objects, if one other company joins him. Meanwhile RoboColosseum put 100+ real robots behind a public evaluation effort.

RoboColosseum runs 20,000 real robot trials to test the models
Hugging Face, BitRobot Network, EAIC and Jiafei Duan launched RoboColosseum, an open evaluation effort with 100+ robots including Unitree G1s, SO-101s, YAMs and Franka arms across 140+ in-the-wild scenes.
Robotics needs its own Hubble Space Telescope or CERN, a scientific megaproject to cut through the noise in physical AI.
A robot tends a 3D printer farm so printing never stops
Lukas Ziegler flagged a DHR Engineering system where a robot runs an entire 3D printer farm, pulling finished prints off the beds and stacking them on a rack so the next job starts. Ziegler says printing can run non-stop as long as there is filament to feed it.

Porter offers to race a five-year-old at CoRL next week
Brad Porter revived Jitendra Malik's "5 year old paired comparison test" and said he will bring his rig to CoRL if one other physical AI company does the same.
Until your robot can do all the "open world manipulation" that a 5 year old kid can, some humility is in order.
