Figure's F.03 hits 13 days of nonstop walking

Brett Adcock says Figure's F.03 has now walked 422 miles and 1.5 million steps without stopping, on a treadmill test that started as a side project to break the robot. Two other teams showed robots running autonomously for days, not minutes.

Figure's F.03 has now walked 13 straight days on a treadmill

Brett Adcock says Figure's F.03 humanoid is still going at 13 days, 422 miles and 1.5 million steps of continuous treadmill walking. Four days earlier he put the same run at 9 days, 348 miles and 1.2 million steps. He says it started as a side project to stress the robot into revealing failures.

COWBOY grasps in the wild after training only in simulation

Jiahui Yang released COWBOY, one grasping policy that coordinates base, arm, dexterous hand and active vision together, trained in simulation and deployed zero-shot in the real world. He says it adapts its motion and grasps to both object and scene geometry, and the work is a CoRL 2026 paper. Jiafei Duan called sim-to-real the theme of the year.

Mimic says its hand ran autonomously for two days straight at GTC

Elvis Nava says mimic has been running a fully autonomous FLUX-mimic demo nonstop at GTC for two days, including through changing light. Chris Paxton, who saw it, called the end-to-end dexterous manipulation policy running non stop impressive. Lighting changes are a common failure mode for camera-driven policies.
