Figure built a secret home inside HQ to test its new model

Brett Adcock says Figure created a secret home inside its headquarters called Blackbox to test frontier models. He was responding to a summary from The Humanoid Labs saying he called Figure's newest model "baby AGI" and the most significant moment he has ever had in robotics, trained last month on the most pre-training data and GPUs in company history.

MEMI hits 97% on a robot memory benchmark by inferring what to remember

Yuejiang Liu released MEMI, which treats robot memory as an inverse problem: infer what the robot must have remembered from the decisions in its demonstrations. On RoboMME's 16 memory-dependent tasks he reports 97.0% end to end and 99.4% with a low-level controller, and says even Claude Haiku climbs from 73.9 to 90.8%. Code, prompts and logs are released.
